The three directors founded Regal and as a result of the success of the company have expanded it to a total of 16 advisers providing independent financial advice across the South West, South Wales and Southern England. This includes Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Stroud, Trowbridge, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Witney, Oxford, Hereford, Cardiff and Swansea.

Martyn Pearce Dip PFS, Director
Martyn has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry and prior to becoming a co founder of Regal held a number of management roles with a large UK financial services company. As well as his role as a director of Regal Independent Martyn also provides advice to his clients. Martyn holds the Diploma in Financial Planning.
Neil JamesCert PFS, Director
Neil has worked in financial services for over 20 years and after a number of managerial roles within some of the Uks largest financial services companies co founded Regal. Neil advises his clients on all areas of financial planning and is Regal's specialist adviser in the Equity Release market. Neil lives in Swansea where he was born and has always lived .
Alastair (Ali) Haining Dip PFS, Director
Ali lives in Witney, Oxfordshire and has in excess of 20 years experience in management in the financial services industry before becoming a co founder of Regal. This included his role as a compliance auditor. Ali works closely with accountants and solicitors in advising on all areas of financial planning, particularly pension planning. As a keen sailor and golfer Ali enjoys the outdoors. Ali enjoys sport and manages a local football team. Ali holds the Diploma in Finacial Planning.
Richard Challis Cert PFS, Independent Financial Adviser
Richard has been giving financial advice to clients in the Bristol area since the 1970s. Richard has known many of his clients all their lives. Richard lives in Alveston, South Gloucestershire and has been married to Jane for 40 years. Richard is a keen football supporter and spent many years coaching youth team football in the Bristol area. He now enjoys his holidays and seems to go more frequently every year.
Phil Hawley Cert PFS, Independent Financial Adviser
Phil lives in Cheltenham and is a financial adviser to many clients in Cheltenham and surrounding areas. Phil has been a financial adviser for 15 years and has dealt with many of his clients for many years. Phil is a keen rambler and is married with 2 grown up children. Phil recently fullfilled one of his lifetime ambitions and drove a double decker bus around a race track. Hopefully he has got it out of his system now!
Adrian Matthews Dip PFS, Independent Financial Adviser
Adrian has many years of experience in financial services and lives in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. As a keen football supporter Adrian can be found at a certain football ground every other saturday. He is also a big Northern Soul fan and ejoys music. Adrian provides full independent advice including investments, pensions, Life Insurance.
Gary Bishop Dip PFS, Independent Financial Adviser
Gary works predominantly from our Stroud office and lives in Witney, Oxfordshire. He has been advising clients for over 15 years. A keen jogger Gary ejoys his morning run (every morning).
Gary holds the Diploma in Financial Planning.
Nigel Pugh Cert PFS, Independent Financial Adviser
Nigel lives in Gloucester and works from our Stroud office. He is married with 2 children. He advises clients across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and surrounding areas. Nigel is a keen golfer and enjoys his holidays. Nigel has worked in financial services for over 12 years. Nigel meets with his clients either in the stroud office, in their homes or at their places of work.
Jenny Cousins Cert PFS, Independent Financial Adviser
Jenny has extensive experience in financial services and joined Regal in 2011 following a number of years advising clients of Relative Financial Planning, which was Jenny's own business. We are pleased Jenny has decided to join Regal and brings with her a wealth of expertise. Jenny is a keen golfer and lives in Yate. James Witheridge, Independent Business Consultant
James has been advising his clients for over 10 years and enjoys golf.
James lives in Neath, South Wales and advises clients in the Bridgend, Neath and Swansea areas in particular.

John has over 30 years experience in financial services and started his career in banking. Previously a bank manager, John decided to move into the world of independent advice many years ago and enjoys his role as a mortgage adviser. John is married with 3 daughters and lives in Magor, South Wales.
Gwyn Palmer CeMap, Independent Mortgage Adviser
Gwyn lives in Swansea and has been advising many of his clients for a number of years.

Gail Gilbert, Business Support Administrator
Gail has been with Regal since 2006 and works from our offices in Bradley Stoke, Bristol. Gail deals with all areas of administration and in particular pension work.
